Mum was born Dorothy Gladys Ford on 16 September 1911 with her birth registered in Sevenoaks. Her mother was Lois May Ford born 24 August 1888 described as a general servant of Leigh Road. Her employer was a Mr B Knight of Birchfield House, Sundridge, there was no father noted.
Her mother married Mr Edward Thomson on 02 September 1913.
Mum’s grandmother was a Agnes Ford, a housekeeper in Leigh and was born 6th Sept. 1868
